Traffic patterns are being changed so that there will be only three lanes for eastbound traffic on Burnside and two lanes for westbound traffic on Couch from Northeast Third to Northeast 14th avenues. The new design is expected to provide better access to businesses, help increase traffic flow and reduce traffic conflicts between drivers and bicyclists. Nutter Corp. is the general contractor for the project that should be completed next month.
