Renovative work is continuing at a Portland dining institution. The RingSide Steakhouse, in business for 66 years at the corner of West Burnside Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue, is being remodeled and gaining an addition. The 3,500-square-foot space will include a larger kitchen, a new wine cellar and a dining room that can be closed off for private functions. The restaurant has moved temporarily to the Fox Tower in downtown; construction work is scheduled to continue through the end of the year. General contractor Robinson Construction Co. is in charge of the project designed by Scott Edwards Architecture.
