The Dutch Village Building in Northeast Portland’s Beaumont neighborhood is getting a new roof. Underlayment, flashing and some tile pieces are being replaced, and new asphalt shingles are being installed on the historic, two-story structure at the corner of Northeast 41st Avenue and Fremont Street. CC & L Roofing, a full-service roofing company that specializes in tile and slate roofs, is in charge of the project for building owner John Rumpakis.
