SolarWorld isn’t the only group in town turning to Portland’s fashion scene for inspiration.

As part of its Portland Architecture and Design festival, the American Institute of Architects Portland chapter will hold its first ever fashion show, featuring designs by Portland clothing purveyors inspired by architecture.

The event will feature designs by , , , and of Sword + Fern. The idea is to explore how the human form influences design, according a release from AIA Portland. There will also be a raffle with prizes from , and elsewhere.

The fashion show will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the AIA Portland Center for Architecture, 403 N.W. 11th Avenue, in Portland. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased .
