St. Johns car delearship renovated into grocery store

A former car dealership in the St. Johns neighborhood in North Portland is undergoing a renovation and addition to become a grocery store. The 13,500-square-foot, one-story building at 7747 N. Lombard St. will be the home for a Grocery Outlet after the shell is completed in January and the tenant improvement is finished after that. Western Construction Services Inc. is the general contractor and Brett Schulz Architect the designer of the project.
