The Oregon Department of Transportation announced yesterday that starting at 3 p.m. today, the historic Columbia River highway over the Sandy River will be closed on the count of witches and werewolves. The new NBC series , based off of the classic fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, will be shooting at that location for 12 hours today.

The crew of the production yesterday set up lights along the trusses if the bridge, known as the Troutdale Bridge. The goblins and ghouls will make their way over to Multnomah Falls on Monday.

The series follows a detective who starts seeing monsters and vows to protect people from therm. Hopefully, weather or other delays won’t force the fairy tale monsters to possess the bridge longer than expected.
