Portland-based Cascade Energy Inc. today announced that it has entered into a energy efficiency partnership to oversee the energy management of more than 100 cold-storage warehouses throughout the country. Now, if I know my Predator 2, that’s no easy task.
Cascade Energy has entered into a three-year strategic partnership with Americold to cut energy use and related costs of Americold’s 132 cold storage facilities in the United States. Cascade Energy will provide Americold with energy monitoring and utility payment analysis services as well as the potential to work with Cascade on taking advantage of incentive programs, facility tune-ups and other related services.
According to an , Americold is the nation’s largest cold-storage facility operator. Cascade Energy president Marcus Wilcox had this to say of the partnership in the Marketwatch article:
In addition to helping Americold effectively manage and reduce operating costs and increase the energy efficiency of its facilities, we hope to inspire others to consider implementing comprehensive energy management strategies.”
Cascade Energy has been around since 1993.
