The renovation of the new Nike Portland is complete, and the store’s grand opening is today.
The new 26,000-square-foot store is in the historic Kress Building at 638 S.W. Fifth Ave. near Pioneer Courthouse Square. The event starts at 10 a.m. The store takes the place of the recently closed NikeTown Portland.

The new store is described as a “brand experience” and features interactive touch screen displays and and scoreboards from Beaverton High School. It also has a statue of Michael Jordan hanging from the ceiling.
Nike Portland joins the new Sephora store on the block, also in the Kress Building, which is owned by Portland’s Goodman family.
So swing by. Check out the shiny new block of downtown.
