The not-yet-named Portland-Milwaukie light rail bridge is being constructed in Southwest Portland. Before Christmas, workers were welding a rebar cage that will be lowered into the ground and filled with concrete to serve as a support for the bridge. More after the jump.

Journeyman ironworkers, from left, Tom Links, Martin Zargoza, and Jared Dillree, all employees of Willamette Valley Steel and members of Local 29, join pieces of rebar to be used as a concrete form for the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Bridge in Southwest Portland Dec. 21.
