Time lapse videos of construction sites can be cool, but until this week, no video put out by any general contracting company has made me laugh aloud (and then stay late at the office to watch the videos over and over).
As an advertisement for , an annual green building and sustainability event in McMinnville, two guys from donned sweatbands and tube socks to make some hilarious promotional videos for one of the competitive events going down April 14. You can see all of the videos , but this one’s the funniest:
The vendors at La Casa Verde, sponsored by , will be divided into teams and charged with building a (basically a movable chicken coop). Each team will start with a package of lumber, hardware and wheels that they will supplement with supplies from the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.
Proceeds from the event will go to the local Habitat for Humanity project, which includes some of the most energy-efficient building techniques the nonprofit has used to date. Local bands including Larry Brown, and will play, and the market’s own will be hosting a beer garden.
