Earlier this week, I wrote a news brief about how the Fred Meyer on Northwest 20th Place would soon be expanding into a 35,000-square-foot space, formerly used as a Hollywood Video, on West Burnside Street. The project will cost $25 million and will expand the store’s grocery and deli space and add more “home-related” items to the store, according to store officials.
The project is still in the design phase, but we were able to obtain some renderings of it. Check it out, before and after:

More renderings after the jump.
