WH Cress Co. is a Portland-area supplier and installer of Division 10 Specialties. The company has a 115-year operating history serving contractors and architects throughout Oregon and Washington.

The company has built lasting relationships with nearly every general contractor and architect in the region. Leadership has remained within the Cress family across four generations. Scott Cress, the third-generation president, remains active in the business, while his daughter Kelly Cress now serves as fourth-generation president, continuing the family’s commitment to the trade.

The company employs 16 people and is distinguished by exceptional staff retention. Three employees are set to retire in 2026, each having contributed more than 30 years of service to the company.

WH Cress maintains a strong record of community involvement. The company recently donated materials and labor to replace toilet partitions at Skyline Elementary School after the school district lacked funding to address deteriorating restroom compartments that lacked latching doors or had no doors at all.

Environmentally, the company recycles shrink wrap from its warehouse operations and coordinates deliveries to reduce its carbon footprint.

The company’s project portfolio is long. Its projects have included the Albina One Building, Anthology of Beaverton Assisted Living Facility, Benson High School, Ilani Casino Hotel, Lumen Field in Seattle, and the Nike Mia Hamm Building.
