In the most diplomatic terms, according to Adroit Construction Co., passengers at the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport had "limited amenities." A vending machine was the only post-security option for food, and coffee came from a communal pot run on the honor system. Before the 9/11 attacks, travelers had to go back through the security checkpoint just to use the restroom.

As construction began to extend light rail south along Interstate 205 to Clackamas Town Center, the project team literally found itself stuck between a rock and a hard place.

With 12 miles separating the two focal points of this project, Springfield's Hamilton Construction Company teamed with Wildish Construction Company to remove three bridges over the McKenzie River and build two new, 790-foot-long structures while reconstructing the interchange at OR Highway 58 and Interstate 5 and replacing the Franklin Boulevard and Goshen over-crossing structures.

This consolidation of two existing high schools onto one campus involved 290,000 square feet of both new and remodel construction that included a new two-story classroom wing, gymnasium, auditorium, media center, commons, administration center, athletic fields, parking lot expansion, tennis courts, and a career and technology building.
Twelve West finishes first at TopProjects
ZGF Architects walked away with the "best in show" title at the Daily Journal of Commerce's 2010 TopProjects event for a 23-story tower in downtown Portland.

Initial plans leaned toward demolishing the old arch bridge crossing the Grand Ronde River near Perry, Oregon. It was one of the earliest bridges designed by Conde McCullough, Oregon's first state bridge engineer who is renowned for his arch bridges along the Oregon Coast.
TopProjects: Albany to Millersburg water reclamation facility submitted by Wildish Standard Building Company
Population growth and an order by the state's Department of Environmental Quality drove the expansion of Albany's water reclamation facility. With the addition of seven new buildings and five tanks, the facility now can handle 68 million gallons a day rather than 20 million
