Vestas headquarters in Pearl District to open spring 2012
Two general contracting firms are currently working on a former Meier and Frank warehouse that will soon host offices for Vestas and Gerding Edlen. Skanska USA will wrap up work on the building’s core and shell in the next three to four months, and Howard S Wright started work on the tenant improvement for Vestas’ offices in October.
Con-way developers face concerns, opportunities with higher density
Representatives from GBD Architects and Spencer Consultants have presented their updated plans to the city design commission for development of the Con-way site in Northwest Portland. Consultants say that the multiuse development will include housing, office and neighborhood-service retail spaces.

Renovation work is beginning on the former Meier & Frank warehouse in Portland’s Pearl District. The building at the corner of Northwest Everett Street and 14th Avenue will be the headquarters of wind turbine company Vestas American Wind Technology.
