Construction lesson at Children’s Hospital
A new structure is rising near the windows of Pediatric Unit 35 in The Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland. The unit’s school-age patients are following the work and, thanks to Hoffman Construction Project Superintendent Phil Dobbin, learning about the construction of the new building, too.
Child care center opens soon
After three years' effort, My Little Waiting Room is set to open at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center on Southwest Barnes Road next month. The day care allows parents to drop off their children while they undergo treatment.
