Groundbreaking set for Oregon Enginehouse and Rail Heritage Center

Crews from Lorentz Bruun Construction will break ground Oct. 21 for the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation’s Enginehouse and heritage center. The new center, when it opens late next spring, will house historic three steam engines that have been cared for and rehabilitated by the foundation.

Two cranes, one from Campbell Crane & Rigging and one from Mowat Construction Co., placed four 115-foot-long, 80,000-pound girders to support the middle of the Portland Streetcar flyover bridge in Southeast Portland.
