PDC awards Community Livability grants

The Portland Development Commission and an evaluation committee comprised of city staff and community members have allotted $320,000 for 11 projects within the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area as part of its Community Livability Grant Program.

PDC votes to stay in Old Town

The Portland Development Commission board of commissioners voted Wednesday to keep their digs in Old Town. The somewhat surprising decision came after landlords of the Mason-Ehrman Building, the Kalberer Co., cut 9,000 unneeded square feet out of the deal, bringing rent and operating costs down.
