Oregon Coast Community Action provides services to assist families in need in Coos and Curry counties, but its centers are scattered throughout the area. A multibuilding project, designed by Scott | Edwards Architecture, at Laclair Street and Thomas Avenue in Coos Bay will integrate a classroom building, a food bank and a resource center into one central campus.

Tigard mental health clinic upgraded

Additions and upgrades are being constructed at a mental health clinic campus in Tigard. Work is under way at three existing buildings at 11895 S.W. Greenburg Road. They house administrative offices and clinics for Luke-Dorf Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care to clients in parts of Multnomah and Washington counties. Eco-roofs and skylights are being installed.

RingSide Steakhouse undergoes remodel

Renovative work is continuing at a Portland dining institution. The RingSide Steakhouse, in business for 66 years at the corner of West Burnside Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue, is being remodeled and gaining an addition. The 3,500-square-foot space will include a larger kitchen, a new wine cellar and a dining room that can be closed off for private functions.

Sniff Dog Hotel

The Sniff Dog Hotel in Northwest Portland will soon be open to canines. The two-story business at the corner of Northwest 19th Avenue and Raleigh Street will have an indoor dog park with state-of-the-art K9Grass, grooming facilities, boarding for up to 80 dogs and a caf茅 for humans.
