A former one-story warehouse in Portland’s Pearl District is in the middle of an extensive renovation to become a space for retail businesses. The 20,000-square-foot building at the corner of Northwest 14th Avenue and Flanders Street is getting seismic, electrical, HVAC and plumbing upgrades and a new storefront with glass and roll-up doors. Robert Gray Partners, the general contractor, is performing the renovation for developers George, Mike and Nicholas Diamond, partners in local company Real Estate Investment Group, and Wally Remmers and Dennis Sackhoff of West Hills Development.
