An interior renovation of a 1,600-square-foot house in Southwest Portland is nearly finished. The 1950s-era structure at 5861 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway is being modified to become the Elkjer Dental Clinic, a family and cosmetic dental practice. The house received an extensive structural upgrade and a 70-foot-long ramp for ADA compliance. General contractor BnK Construction Inc. and architect Sisu Design Group are performing the remodel.
