SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT: Located on Southeast Division Street, the four-story Division 28 Homes cohousing development was designed to meet the needs of a close group of friends who wanted to spend their last years together. The building will have both common areas and privacy distinctly different than those of typical apartments and condominiums.

The facade integrates terra-cotta and green spaces, and the interior features cross-laminated timber. The first floor includes a community space with areas for retail and restaurants. Parking is below grade. Above, there are living spaces with high-end interiors and an extensive private patio with green space. Additional amenities include a wine cellar and a pool.

The goal of the project is to create a space that benefits both residents and people at the street level.
