Plans call for installing a make-up air unit and two exhaust fans atop the roof. This is a non-contributing resource in the Kenton Commercial Historic District.

Applicant: Emily Matson of Columbia Land Trust of Vancouver, Washington 
Owners: Columbia Land Trust and the Oregon State Board of Higher Education

Approval is sought for construction of a one-mile-long, natural-surface hiking trail on a 40-acre forested site. Most of the proposed trail would be located on land owned by Columbia Land Trust (a private nonprofit organization). Approximately 500 linear feet would be located on adjacent land owned by Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and managed under legal easement by Portland Parks & Recreation. The entire trail will be open to the public.

Owners of condominiums located along Northwest 10th Avenue have asked the Portland Bureau of Transportation to consider an alternative sidewalk material to the Ipe wood decking currently in place. It’s specified in River District right-of-way standards, given concerns around maintenance and the slipperiness of the existing materials when wet.
