The proposal is to remodel a 3,480-square-foot pre-engineered metal building to become a walk-up bottle redemption facility with hand and electronic count systems. The facility would include on-site recycled storage but there would be no processing containers. Outside of business hours, cans would be collected via truck and brought to other Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative processing facilities. No site changes are proposed other than striping an accessible pathway from the Southeast Milwaukie Avenue right-of-way to the building entrance. Stormwater from the right-of-way would continue to flow into the public system without treatment.
