Tigard mental health clinic upgraded

Additions and upgrades are being constructed at a mental health clinic campus in Tigard. Work is under way at three existing buildings at 11895 S.W. Greenburg Road. They house administrative offices and clinics for Luke-Dorf Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care to clients in parts of Multnomah and Washington counties. Eco-roofs and skylights are being installed.

No wall, but living column used in Tigard project

An affordable housing project being built in Tigard will take a cue from living walls to make a more energy efficient building. Developed by Community Partners for Affordable Housing, The Knoll will be the first housing project built since the city of Tigard created its downtown urban renewal district.

Pacific Highway upgraded

Major intersecting roads in Tigard are being upgraded. The Oregon Route 99W project for the city of Tigard, Washington County and the Oregon Department of Transportation calls for a third through lane for Pacific Highway, turn lanes onto side streets, an extended median, wider sidewalks, new bike lanes, improved pedestrian crossings and wider corners for truck turns.
