SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT: This new apartment complex will bring much-needed housing to the Woodburn area.聽Pacific Valley Apartments will have a total of 204 residential units (with one, two or three bedrooms) in 10 separate three-story buildings.聽The complex will feature a clubhouse with a fitness room, an outdoor barbecue shelter and a play area.聽Exterior materials will include a mix of lap and shingle siding, in warm colors, as well as large windows and exterior decks for all units.

The city鈥檚 planning goals聽for this portion of Oregon Route 99E include聽reducing the existing 鈥渟uperblocks鈥� and improving street connectivity.聽With the guidance of the Woodburn Planning Department, the site is designed in anticipation of future vehicular, bicyclist and pedestrian connections to adjacent properties through the use of creative site planning and dedicated access easements.聽Buildings will be placed to retain as many existing trees as possible, and a聽public multiuse path will run from Route 99E along the entire length of the site to the neighborhoods beyond.
