Spalding Building lobby remodeled
The lobby of the Spalding Building in downtown Portland is in the middle of a remodel. The 12-story, 99-year-old building at 319 S.W. Washington St. had lost some of its historic character after several renovations.

Construction is set to begin on a $139 million renovation of the Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in downtown Portland on Wednesday.
Social service building under way in East Portland

Lincoln Hall
Lincoln Hall on the Portland State University campus, built in 1911 as Lincoln High School, is getting a new roof, skylights, windows and furnishings, as well as electrical and mechanical upgrades.
Portland Transit Mall
The last of the bus shelters from the original Portland Transit Mall construction is being renovated to become a coffee cafe. Caffe Viale will operate the coffee shop that is on Southwest 5th Avenue between Salmon and Main streets.
Coffee Bean International
Coffee Bean International will soon be serving its brew from a 1,125-square-foot space in downtown Portland. There will be a cupping table where CBI will host sampling of its wares. The new space has finishes of fir paneling, reclaimed wood, caesarstone, wood cabinetry and oak flooring.
Lincoln Hall
Lincoln Hall, a 99-year-old building on the Portland State University campus, is in the middle of an extensive renovation that includes seismic upgrades, a new roof, new windows, a remodeled interior, and mechanical and electrical upgrades.
