Chase bank on NW 23rd

A former copy center at the corner of Northwest Lovejoy Street and 23rd Avenue will be a Chase bank by mid-summer. The 5,300-square-foot space will have teller windows, offices and new ADA-accessible restrooms.

Coffee Bean International

Coffee Bean International will soon be serving its brew from a 1,125-square-foot space in downtown Portland. There will be a cupping table where CBI will host sampling of its wares. The new space has finishes of fir paneling, reclaimed wood, caesarstone, wood cabinetry and oak flooring.

Schmeer replaces old downspouts

Schmeer Sheet Metal Works designed new downspouts to replace those at the Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center. The historic building, constructed in 1909, was in need of galvanized sheet-metal downspouts.

Eastside Water Bureau building

The former home of the city of Portland's Eastside Water Bureau, a 100-year-old brick building in Southeast Portland, has undergone an extensive remodel. Punch list items are all that's left to do on the two-story, 10,000-square-foot structure that is the new home of Schneider Law Offices at the corner of Southeast Seventh Avenue and Alder Street.

Northwest 23rd Avenue

Northwest 23rd Avenue from West Burnside to Northwest Lovejoy Street is being upgraded. The project includes excavating the existing travel lanes and trolley tracks, reconstructing the roadway base, and repaving the surface. The project will also install curb ramps on corners where they are needed and rebuild existing ones to meet new Americans with Disabilities Act standards.

Pagoda now a Key Bank

The former Pagoda Restaurant in Portland's Hollywood neighborhood is being turned into a Key Bank. When completed in mid-summer, the 4,300-square-foot bank will have exterior finishes that complement the neighborhood: stucco, glass and stone as well as a ceramic roof.
