The city of Lake Oswego has determined that all general contractors, bypass pumping specialty contractors and marine specialty contractors on the Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer – Lake Down project must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid.

Benton County Fairgrounds Renovation/Arena Re-siding Rebid

This project originally went to bid on Aug. 26. However, according to the county, there were some inconsistencies and possible disqualifications, so none of the bids were accepted. The proposed work for the project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for re-siding, replacing all doors and windows and other work on the arena.

Fit Right Northwest

After nine years at 1207 N.W. 23rd Ave., Fit Right Northwest is set to move its business four blocks to a 5,000-square-foot building at 2258 N.W. Raleigh St. By moving, the company will increase its retail floor space from approximately 1,100 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet.

Government communications company buys social site

The company that manages e-mail notifications for Oregon state agencies and TriMet has bought a social media company it describes as Facebook for government. GovDelivery, based in St. Paul, Minn., bought Washington-based GovLoop for an undisclosed amount, the companies announced today.
