The Tillamook County Family YMCA is getting a renovation and a 14,000-square-foot addition. The existing facility at 610 Stillwell Ave. will receive a new fire sprinkler system, a fire alarm system and an elevator.

A ranch-style house built in the 1950s is undergoing another renovation as it becomes office space to serve two dentists. Healthy Smiles will occupy the 2,200-square-foot building at 7306 N.E. Fremont in Portland.

Work on the extensive renovation of the Willamette Building in downtown Portland is continuing. The building at the corner of Southwest Second Avenue and Yamhill Street is getting seismic, mechanical and electrical upgrades as well as a complete interior remodel.

The Fred Meyer in Raleigh Hills is sprucing up and spreading out. The store is undergoing a makeover that extends from food to flowers and includes the relocation of a garden center and a 30,000-square-foot expansion to its grocery area.

A Northwest Portland apartment building is getting an extensive remodel. The Raymond Apartments, an eight-plex at 1934 N.W. 29th Ave., is getting an upgraded foundation, a new roof, new siding, refinished floors, plumbing and electrical upgrades, new energy-efficient windows and new cabinets.
