For the 30th straight year, welcome to 91ÊÓƵ Oregon’s Top Projects. And cheers to those at our 25th annual Top Projects event at the Oregon Convention Center, where we celebrate the region’s best of the best.

The 51 winners you’ll meet below represent more than just construction excellence – they tell the story of communities transformed, needs met and visions realized across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Each project on this list reflects the region’s commitment to sustainability, innovation and inclusivity.

What makes these projects so special is the diversity of their impact. From Union Gospel Mission’s Angela’s House, Altura and Tistilal Village providing dignity and housing solutions, to Gates Residence and Hoffman HQ celebrating regional craftsmanship, these projects meet people where they are – in need of shelter, culture, education, infrastructure or simply beauty. This year, many projects incorporate the use of Mass Timber, including the City of Bend Public Works Campus, Julia West House, Blue Lake Regional Park Facility, Multnomah County Library/Albina, and La Plaza Esperanza.

Restorations like the Milwaukie City Hall, The Merchant Block/Inn at Dayton and the Fort Stevens Guardhouse show a reverence for history, while forward-looking efforts like the Hillsboro Hops Ballpark, the Portland Art Museum and the Providence St. Vincent Emergency Department Expansion demonstrate cutting-edge planning. Even smaller communities benefit, with the Combs Flat Road Extension and Redmond Public Safety Facility tackling essential infrastructure and services with elegance and care.

They were named Top Projects not just for design or engineering – though both are often outstanding – but for what they represent: resilience, community and progress. Whether it’s a library expansion, innovative housing like Shortstack Milwaukie and Shortstack Mississippi or environmentally sensitive work like the Johnson Creek Confluence & Milwaukie Bay Habitat Enhancement, these projects are building the future, one thoughtful brick at a time. They are a reminder that great design can also serve a greater good – and that’s why they’re truly top-tier.
